Now that the kitchen is done we can move on. It has been fun but it is also our last.

Ok, this looks a little strange but this stainless wall holds my favorite menus (signed) but also I clip on receipes and grocery lists.
Have I mentioned that I love to cook?

These are two of my favorite appliances in the pantry. The second dishwasher drawer and the most perfect appliance if you entertain......................the plate warmer. I have wanted one for years.

I designed this take on a hutch to hold dishes, flatware and small appliances here in the pantry and Tom built it for me.An interesting point is the fir counter top is reclaimed from an old Seattle building. We sanded it and sealed it. The cabinet pulls are from a rolll front chest of drawers my dad made in the early 50s. They are made of Bakelite,a popular material of its time. The chest has since seen better days but the history remains here in my memories.

This space went from a larger window with a low counter to a smaller window and a taller cabinet. This will be all drawers for great storage.
